UPVC window fabricator — Pike County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Pike County, Indiana. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. On the job you will handle: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam Requirements: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
