Now hiring: we are hiring a tile mason in Howard County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Day-to-day duties: • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
