Immediate opening: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a tyre and exhaust shop. Day to day you will carry out oil and filter changes; replace clutch plates and gearbox components; service and replace timing belts and chains; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • Own set of hand tools • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps Overtime paid at a premium rate.
