We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Taylor County, Kentucky. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
