Gas metal arc welder — Lisburn and Castlereagh

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Lisburn and Castlereagh, Northern Ireland. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Pay around £2,250 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
