We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Antrim County, Michigan. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
