Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Lawrence County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Part-time with flexible hours.
