Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Foard County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Able to cut glass accurately to size At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
