Port container crane operator wanted in Graham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Graham County, North Carolina. The job is on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
