Lift erector • Colusa County, California

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift erector in Colusa County, California. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
