Cake decorator • Union County, South Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cake decorator in Union County, South Carolina. You will be based at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
