Refrigeration technician — Catahoula Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy refrigeration workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Valid driving licence for field call-outs At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
