Turning centre operator wanted in Champaign County

Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Champaign County, Ohio. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Part-time with flexible hours.
