Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. You will be based in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots.
