Immediate opening: MIG/MAG welder (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings You will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead.
