You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits The role involves segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings.
