Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off.
