Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Sarasota County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
