Tile fixer — Cortland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile fixer in Cortland County, New York. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation On the job you will handle: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
