Immediate opening: finishing plasterer (Wales)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Carmarthenshire, Wales. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Your main tasks: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Check walls for plumb and level as you go Rotating shifts.
