Aluminium fitter • Chemung County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Chemung County, New York. You will work on a residential building site. Day to day you will de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding. Requirements: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
