Fire and safety officer — Polk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Polk County, Oregon. Your main tasks: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 1+ years on the tools preferred.
