Immediate opening: external wall insulation fitter (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Clearwater County, Minnesota. You will work at a cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles The role involves: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
