Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Ontonagon County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Rotating shifts.
