Reinforcement fitter — Valley County

You will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Overtime paid at a premium rate.
