EHS coordinator wanted in City of Roanoke

Great opportunity: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in City of Roanoke, Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise building project. You will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites 5+ years on the tools preferred.
