Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Vance County, North Carolina. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
