Elevator technician wanted in Henry County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Henry County, Illinois. You will work on a lift modernisation project. On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring 3+ years on the tools preferred.
