Vertical transportation technician — Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Jefferson County, Iowa. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 3+ years on the tools preferred. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
