Gantry crane operator • Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
