We are recruiting: gas metal arc welder (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Sabine County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
