Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Bourbon County, Kansas. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
