Immediate opening: we are hiring a chiller technician in Jefferson County, Kansas. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. On a typical shift you will read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; clean condenser and evaporator coils; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; fault-find control boards and defrost timers. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience.
