On the job you will handle: • Bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries You should have: • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
