Paint and prep technician • Dallam County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Dallam County, Texas. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. You should have: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Good eye for colour matching and blending The role involves: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
