MIG/MAG welder • Prairie County, Montana

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Prairie County, Montana. You will work at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
