Furniture maker — Cottonwood County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. Your main tasks: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
