Aluminium tig welder — Montague County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Montague County, Texas. You will be based on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
