Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating operator in McLean County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns You should have: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
