Milling machine operator wanted in Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Lake County, Indiana. You will work in a toolroom. On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Full-time, day shift.
