Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofer in Limestone County, Alabama. The job is at a busy roofing firm. The role involves: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets You should have: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
