Steel erection rigger — Cullman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Cullman County, Alabama. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
