Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in City of Staunton, Virginia. The job is at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
