Great opportunity: we are hiring a mason's helper in Fluvanna County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Part-time with flexible hours.
