Vertical transportation technician — Lincoln County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Lincoln County, Washington. The job is at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments 2+ years on the tools preferred.
