We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble fitter in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will be based at a kitchen worktop showroom. Day to day you will lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound. You should have: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
