Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Columbia County, Georgia. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day-to-day duties: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
