Precision welder — Indiana County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Part-time with flexible hours.
