Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Schuyler County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds The role involves screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
