Materials handling operator — South Central Connecticut Planning Region

Vacancy available: we are hiring a materials handling operator in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a large warehouse. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Minimum 1-2 years' warehouse forklift experience • Valid forklift / FLT licence for counterbalance and reach trucks Day to day you will shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch; sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris; charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; assist with stock takes and cycle counting; read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
